Partnerships

The Useful Margin considers collaborations that fit its practical, reader-first coverage of everyday systems and ideas. Any paid or partner-supported material will be identified clearly, and editorial coverage remains distinct from promotional placement.

Possible collaborations

Relevant possibilities include clearly identified sponsored explainers, useful resource features, and carefully scoped campaigns connected to the publication’s subjects. A proposal should explain the intended audience, the subject, the proposed format, and what support or consideration is involved.

Partner placements

The publication may accept sitewide partner placements, including placements that appear in recurring areas of the site. These will be labeled so readers can recognize their partner or promotional nature. Placement does not guarantee editorial coverage, favorable opinions, or inclusion in an independent guide.

How to propose an idea

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include enough detail to assess the fit and intended labeling. We may decline a proposal that does not suit the publication’s subject matter or cannot be presented transparently.
